Alycia

Hello and welcome, I'm Alycia, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Gwinnett College graduate, caring for clients since February of 2025. I'm honored to bring my hands and heart to Dosha Bodywork & Wellness, where healing is a partnership between us. I believe every session should be personal, built around your body, your tension, and how you want to feel when you leave. My work spans Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, prenatal, sports massage, Thai table massage, assisted stretching, myofascial release, reflexology, lymphatic massage, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Whether you're seeking relief from pain, easier movement, recovery, or a quiet moment to reset, I'm here to meet you where your body is and create a session shaped entirely around you, so you leave feeling lighter, looser, and genuinely cared for.

Michael

Natural healing is what pulled me into this craft. The body already knows how to repair itself. My job is to find what is standing in the way and give it room to do the work. That is where the satisfaction lives for me. Not in the technique itself, but in watching someone get off the table moving differently than when they walked in.

My favorite modalities are neuromuscular therapy and trigger point work. Both are precise and investigative. I am looking for the specific tissue that is holding the pattern, not just rubbing where it hurts, because the spot that screams is often not the spot that started it. Shoulder pain that traces back to the hip. Headaches that live in the neck and jaw. That kind of detective work is the part of pain management I enjoy most.

The other half of what I do is slower on purpose. Swedish work has a reputation for being the soft option, but a nervous system stuck in fight or flight will not let muscle release no matter how deep you go. Sometimes the most useful thing I can do is give the body an hour of quiet and let it drop out of that state. Both approaches belong in this work, and the right one depends on what you walk in with.

I am always adding to the toolkit. Thai massage and Reiki are next on my list, and I plan to bring both into my practice.

If you are dealing with something that has not resolved on its own, or you simply need somewhere to put your body down for an hour, I would like to help.

Bodywork should never feel generic.

Every session begins with listening. From there, Anthony tailors the work using the right pace, pressure, and technique for your body that day. His sessions may include therapeutic massage, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, prenatal bodywork, cupping, heated tools, hot/cold stones, jaw and scalp-focused work, and aromatherapy — whatever combination serves you best.

Wellness Support

If you know your body does better with regular care, our massage memberships make it easier to stay on track. Memberships are designed for clients who want personalized support, easier maintenance, and built-in savings.

Why "Dosha"?

The name Dosha reflects Anthony's appreciation for whole-person care and the idea that each body is different. While his work is not Ayurvedic treatment, the philosophy behind the name honors balance, self-awareness, and a more personalized approach to care. Your body is not the same as anyone else's and your session shouldn't be, either.

What makes Dosha different

Personalization first:
Your session is never pulled from a script. Pressure, pacing, technique, and focus areas are adjusted based on your goals, your preferences, and how your body responds.

Therapeutic, but grounded:

This work is results-focused, but not harsh. The goal is relief that actually lands, not intensity for intensity’s sake.

A calm, high-touch experience:

From the intake to the final moments of your session, every part of the experience is designed to help you feel safe, supported, and cared for.

Support through real-life seasons:

Dosha is especially aligned for women moving through stress, pain, pregnancy, postpartum changes, burnout, overwhelm, and bodies that have been carrying too much for too long.
